Hello!

My name is Dr. Ashley Beyer Ray, your hometown family Chiropractor for Gregory-Portland and surrounding areas. Below is a brief intro into who I am and what I offer as a chiropractor for you and your family. I am also the only licensed animal chiropractor in the immediate area, so I am here for your animal chiropractic needs as well. A good rule of thumb is "I can adjust anything with a spine!"

Thank you for being here and reading about me and my office and I look forward to meeting you and getting to hear your story too!

My Story

Here is a little bit about me so you know what to expect walking into Ray of Light Chiropractic! I am a Portland area native, I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up on a cotton farm just outside of town. I attended Gregory Portland High School where I played tennis and graduated in 2010.

From there I moved on to Texas Tech University (Guns Up!) where I played collegiate horse polo and graduated with a Bachelors of Animal Science degree in 2014.  I was playing polo and teaching therapeutic horseback riding in the Dallas area when I felt my heart was being pulled in a different direction which led me to Parker University to pursue being a chiropractor, I knew very quickly that I had found my home in the chiropractic profession. I graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2018 which included my American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) license to practice animal chiropractic as well which stemmed from my first true love of animals and horses.

The chaos of 2020 very quickly called me back to my hometown where I have spent the last 4 years serving the communities of Corpus Christi, Rockport, and surrounding areas while also starting a beautiful family with my husband Cody. I am beyond grateful to be able to bring to Gregory-Portland my love and passion for health and wellness that comes from my years of expertise as a Chiropractor. I have a passion for helping you and your families bodies to be as healthy as possible but mainly I am here so that you are all able to live happy, functional, pain free lives! And not just for you but also for your pets!

You can still catch me out on the tennis courts today playing leagues locally, as well as seeing me on the gym floor at Crossfit XLR8, at Gracepoint Church on Sunday mornings, or just around town with my family, please feel free to say hi and introduce yourself, I am so excited to be here to serve you and your families!
